Devon Lynn Weniger, born June 11, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV.

She was a Devon from the very start. We think her name was already hers but the name Lynn came from her Dad’s very good friend Jeffrey Lin Anderson and her grandmother Catherine Lynn.
That homage to her “Uncle Jeff” seems to have instilled an artistic streak in her at birth. She started painting at the age of 14 months. Her first art piece was a gift to her Dad, a canvas painting, which was later screenprinted and turned into that winter’s snowboard graphic for him. She’s loved painting ever since.
Snowboarding also came into the mix for her at a young age. Her dad, Joe, started her young at 8 months. Too young to stand on her own, Joe hiked and carried her in a backpack every chance he got until she was big enough to ride the chairlift.
These two hobbies have also seen her through some difficult days. At the age of 22 months she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and immediately set forth on a 2 1/2 year chemotherapy treatment program. With lots of love and prayers and the sheer will to survive, she’s come through the first year and and half healthy, strong and happy. June 2010 is set for her last treatment.
She’s an amazing little woman with extremely grateful and proud parents who can’t wait to see what other gifts and talents come to be.
Devon is partnered with photographer Jane Baer.

The OG Jeresy’s “The Wenigers” have made a lasting impression on what Mammoth means to me as Jeff Anderson has himself. I would always call Jeff Billy and Billy Jeff, Jeff was the only guy i knew that skated one way and snowboarded another a impression to what the true essence of skate style on a board meant to me growing up learning everything there is to know about snowboarding. Liberty boardshop stickers everywhere! Storm riders and Wave Rave the only 2 shops in town! Those where the best times of my life in Mammoth! Thanks to Jeff and the infamous OG Jeresys of Tom and Joe Weniger! Looking forward to the Art show!
